Travis County has a plethora of information and webinars to help you navigate property taxes. Below are some useful links to resources to help you begin the process or update your knowledge of things that have changed from last year.

TX homeowners and businesses will get a tax cut after voters approve Proposition 4

  • January 31: Property Tax Payments for 2023 Due

    February 1: Property Tax Payments begin accruing interest

    Mid April: Property Tax Assessments Mailed out (for value as of January 1, 2024, payment due January 31, 2025)

    April 30: Last day to file homestead exemption (This process may take up to 90 days to complete)

    May 15: Last day to file a Property Market Value Protest
